Why convert PNG to SVG?

PNG is a raster format: it stores a fixed grid of pixels. Scale it up and the edges blur. SVG is a vector format: it stores shapes as mathematical paths, so a converted logo stays razor-sharp on a business card, a billboard, or a retina display – all from one file that is often smaller than the original PNG.
